Working with clay is an exciting creative outlet for people of all ages. Not only can the end product be practical and useful, there are a variety of exciting ceramic techniques to master. Wheel throwing, handbuilding, slab projects, and nerikome (colored clay) are just a few of my favorite focal points. These mediums and techniques bring me the most satisfaction and creative purpose, and I hope to stir that up in you as well.
For eight years, ceramics have been my passion and pursuit. Over the years, the techniques I learned in the beginning developed and improved. As I found new and even more intriguing creative techniques, I weaved them into my current understanding of ceramics, creating a well-rounded vision stemming from education, experience and heart.
