The best way to apply the Heat Transfer Silkscreen Stencils or the One Time Underglaze Transfers is to build flat with a fresh slab using clay right out of the bag. Roll the slab and print onto it. Use the Heat Transfer Silkscreen Stencils or the One Time Underglaze Transfers and print to your heart content. It is cool to layer the one time newsprint stencil, direct printing with the Heat Transfer Silkscreen Stencils or the emulsion silkscreen stencils. Place a template on top and use a sharpie to trace the template… Cut using scissors and you can take off the plastic wrap on the clean side. Take off a little bit on the side and score and put it together. It is easier to leave the plastic wrap on as it keeps it a little stiffer.
