The Ohaus Scout Pro is a great accurate digital scale. It is pretty pricey but the digital scale really the way to go. Whenever you move the Scout Pro you need to take the metal pan/plate that sits on top. The other thing to remember is that the Scout Pro’s readings will fluctuate if there is wind blowing or temperature fluctuations.
This line of scales is very accurate and great for glaze making. This scale is very accurate, measures out to a hundredth decimal point and you can tare (zero) the scale as well. There are several different types and different weight capacities.
This is a great scale because it is digital it is much easier to get an accurate weight a lot faster than a manual scale.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Make sure that you take the metal plate on top off of your scale whenever you move it.
